Some individuals are simply silver tongued devils. Others have practiced the craft of statesmanship or performance for years to hone their skills. Regardless of how they've achieved it, some people can simple enthral you with their words. These individuals can manipulate, intimidate and persuade better than any others.

Social Manouvers

Individuals with a Social Prowess can pull off special Social Maneuvers. This allows them to recover from a gaffe, instantly align someone to their cause or chill someone to their core with fear. These Maneuvers are performed by expending Rapport Points, described below.

Rapport Points

Individuals with Social Prowess have a certain number Rapport Points, representing their goodwill, intimidating gaze and quick wit. They also represent their ability to eagerly assess a given individual or setting. An individual with Social Prowess begins with 5 Rapport Points, gaining an additional 5 points at level 3, and every 3 turns thereafter.

Once per short rest, 3 Rapport Points can be spent to re-roll any CHA check, against a creature with a maximum INS, described in Table 1 below. Additionally, once per turn, in combat, one Rapport Point can be spent to intimidate a single enemy, allowing them to escape melee range without providing opportunity for that enemy to use a reaction.

After making an INS check, but before learning if it is successful, you can spend 2 Rapport Points to add to your roll, a number of points described in Table 2 below.
